Michael Molnar, Advisor

Michael is a senior finance and capital markets professional with more than 25 years of experience working with boards, CEOs, and CFOs to translate strategy into capital decisions and long-term enterprise value.

Most recently, Michael has led corporate development and M&A initiatives within the Office of the CFO at both private equity–backed and public companies, overseeing transactions from initial strategy through execution and integration. Earlier in his career, he spent 15 years on Wall Street building a comprehensive view of capital markets as a sell-side analyst, investment banker, and buy-side investor.

Across his career, Michael has been directly involved in more than 100 transactions, capital raises exceeding $1 billion, and enterprise value creation initiatives that have meaningfully scaled businesses. He has also built and led cross-functional teams across corporate development, M&A, and strategic planning, including roles at Goldman Sachs and Accenture.

Michael brings a thoughtful, disciplined approach to mentorship, helping students understand how strategy, capital allocation, and decision-making come together in the real world.

He holds an MBA in Finance from University of Chicago, a master’s degree in Decision Science from London School of Economics, and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Rutgers University. He is a CFA charter holder and started his career as a CPA (now inactive).
