William Kloepfer, Advisor
William is a senior financial services executive with more than two decades of experience across capital markets, trading, and financial leadership. He is currently a Managing Director at Nomura Securities International, where he has spent over 15 years in senior roles within the firm’s U.S. platform.
Earlier in his career, William held leadership and analytical roles at Bank of America and Morgan Stanley, and began his professional career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen. This combination of accounting, capital markets, and operating experience gives him a grounded, end-to-end view of how financial institutions and markets function.
William is both a Certified Public Accountant and a seasoned securities professional, holding multiple FINRA licenses. He brings a disciplined, practical perspective to mentorship, helping students understand how financial markets operate, how risk is managed, and how real-world decisions are made inside complex organizations.
He holds an MBA in Analytic Finance and Economics from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Management with a concentration in Accounting from Binghamton University School of Management.
